I am so happy to be back and reach you now because there are lots of good things happening. A Danspiritual session with a DJ has been something that I wanted to do for a long time, but it was not till this last weekend that I've got to know the amazing work of Yarun Dee, that I finally decided to give it a shot and invite him to play for us. He said he'd love to... So here you go!

DOWN TO THE ROOTS
In this first of four consecutive Thursday sessions you are invited to experience the true nature of your being in a spiritual journey through the energy of the Four Natural Elements, one at a time. On the 2nd of November, DJ Yarun Dee and I will make sure you root yourself deep into the womb of the Pachamama (Quechua word for Mother Earth) and use your body awareness to feel grounded, compassionate, accepting, peaceful and grateful; be centered and balanced regardless what's going on around you.
OVER YARUN DEE
The music Yarun Dee plays is a fusion of electronic music mixed with shamanic, tribal and oriëntal sounds from around the planet. The feeling on the dance floor is spacious and grounding at the same time. Subtile and compelling melodies, strong and earthy beats. Rhythms that make your body want to dance, your mind to become silent and your spirit to expand. In the past several years he has been a resident at Odessa and Club Lite in Amsterdam, where he played at conscious events like Ecstatic Dance, The Chocolate Club, Tantric Dance and Shine. He's been playing at Ecstatic Dance events throughout The Netherlands and Europe. Right now he also is a resident at Ecstatic Dance Utrecht and Ecstatic Dance Odessa.

GUIDELINES
We dance with others or alone following the following guidelines:
No speaking in the dance floor
No shoes
We are sensitive and respectful to the other's will of dancing alone
We move freely in the space while taking care of others
Some beverages are available in the kitchen. No glasses allowed in the dance floor (just bottles of water if you bring yours.)

Location: Anamorphic Studio. Overtoom 301, Amsterdam. (Last floor of the building, with the stairs behind you to the left.)
Door opens: 7:15pm.
We start: 7:30 and it goes on till 9pm.
