Danspiritual en el Jardín de Angelica 

en Chaclacayo - Peru!

Queridos amigos,

Mas feliz no puedo estar de tener la oportunidad de comenzar con mis sesiones de Danspiritual en este nuevo año en un lugar maravilloso: Se trata de la escuela holistica El Jardin de Angelica en Chaclacayo dirigido por la talentosa Maria Angelica Vega.

Danspiritual en una sesión de danza estilo libre en combinación con ejercicios de relajación y conciencia del cuerpo al ritmo de música de muy variado origen y género que tiene como objetivo la expresión a través del movimiento. 

El tempo dado por la música y los ejercicios que usamos, están diseñados para que la hora y media que dura la sesión fluya naturalmente y se llegue sin casi darse uno cuenta a un estado de conexión y armonía con el cuerpo y el momento presente comparables a estados al que se acceden por medio de practicas como la meditación y la contemplación.

Los efectos de Danspiritual son la disolución de dolores crónicos por stress, desbloqueo emocional, mejor concentración, aumento del autoestima, ademas de todos los beneficios que todo ejercicio de tipo aerobico puede proporcionar a quien lo practica regularmente.

Danspiritual reclama el espíritu intuitivo, sanador, de comunión y celebración que las danzas ancestrales poseen.

Las clases seran de 8:00 a 9:30 pm entre los arboles y bajo el cielo estrellado de Chaclacayo.

Traer ropa cómoda en capas, que al entrar en calor pueda ser quitada.

Saying goodbye to Amsterdam 

See you back in August!

Dearest friends,

I am going to Peru till the summer so I want to thank you all of you who showed interest and supported Danspiritual with your enthusiasm, feedback and warmth. It's been an incredibly fulfilling  experience so far!

The time has came that I want to see my family and spend some months there. I will be dancing and hopefully making people dance, paint, show my work and reconnect with friends I have not seen in ages!

Please keep dancing, keep the good spirits!

Open Air Danspiritual at Vondelpark

Be aware there is no Monday studio dance at the moment

Today was beautiful at Westerpark! 

Be outside dancing make you feel like flying and connected to everything! What a beautiful experience! I felt so thankful again. 

I know it take some courage to be dancing where "others" can watch you but once you start nothing can stop you and it is fun and empowering to go now and then out of your comfort zone. Honestly, I am used to it so I feel very comfortable dancing in a park. Maybe the first two minutes feels a bit funny and then you are totally there. In your body, feeling the grass with your feet, moving with eyes closed breathing the air, feeling the sun and the wind.

Today was wonderful weather, next Sunday will be too ;) 

Bring water and a towel or/and mat, something where you can lie down or sit dry after dancing.

Looking much forward to it!

Danspiritual  in Westerpark

Dear dancers,

At the moment there is no Danspiritual studio dance on Mondays. My apologies to you all who were used to dance on Monday evenings!

For the time being and when the weather allows it I invite you to join me on Sunday middays at diverse locations in the city. I will announce it every week here, at Facebook and Meetup. 

Our next Sunday Open Air Danspiritual is going to be at Westerpark. Same spot as all the parties and concerts happen. 

Bring water and a towel or mat if you wish.

Danspiritual One Year Aniversary Night!

Dear dancers,

It is a year we have been dancing together! Can you believe it?

Dozens of people of so many nationalities and walks. Once a week. Each time a different experience and a new music playlist made with lots of love. So many friendships were born.

A lot to be thankful for! 

Are you coming to dance and celebrate a year of having met each other united by our passion for dancing?

What about a dancing evening to feel connected to yourself and energise your soul, mind and body to the rhythm of irresistible dancing music?

Danspiritual is my response to a personal need to share something that gives me lots of energy and pleasure. While dancing I am fully present, flowing in total harmony. My aim with these sessions is to provide the space so more people can enjoy this liberating experience regularly.

Danspiritual combines short relaxation and mindfulness exercises with a full hour of freestyle barefoot dancing.
A chance to celebrate, burn calories, relax, express ourselves, allow the wisdom of the body take over and have fun.

I use music that makes me dance and creates the tempo and mood for each moment of the session. 

No age limit. No previous dancing experience required. No choreographies.
